German team Bieneck/Schneider wins Bronze medal in Xiamen
Barbara/Fernanda succeeds in Xiamen women’s competition
The recently formed team Bieneck/Schneider just won their first medal in their second World Tour tournament. Reaching the bronze medal with victories over teams from Canada, Czech Republic, Austria, China and Brazil they were only defeated by Wang/Yue in the semi-final. The gold medal went to the Brazilian team Barbara/Fernanda.
Dutch team victorious in men’s competition
In the men’s competition Brouwer/Meeuwsen (Netherlands) won the final against Nicolai/Lupo (Italy). Third place went to Rudol/Szalankiewicz (Poland) who beat the German team Dollinger/Erdmann in the small final.

I have always a big admiration for the Asian world because they are always good and considered to win all the medals.. so seeing that a German and Dutch team wins it.. Im surprised but also happy because the competition will get more exciting!
Well, in beach volleyball the Asians still have lots ofpotential. Currently the sport is dominated by Brazilians, Americans and Europeans.
