26 teams already qualified for the men’s World Championship 2017 in Vienna

The beach volleyball World Championships 2017 approaches quickly. The 11th FIVB World Championships will be held July 28 through August 6 at Vienna Donauinsel, Austria. Overall $1-million in prize money will be awarded with the winning men’s and women’s teams.
Alison/Bruno Schmidt (Brazil) will be back to defend their FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship title. In addition to Brazil with four qualifying pairs, other countries having spots are host Austria, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Italy, Latvia, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Spain and the United States.
The women’s competition will be lead by current Olympic champions Ludwig/Walkenhorst (Germany). After splitting up the current World Champions Agatha/Barbara (BRA) will not be able to defend their title.

Yes, the season has just started but the World Championships are already end of July.
I love watching volleyball during Olympics but don’t really know much about it. I wish more games would be televised as this is a sport that requires a lot of skill and athleticism. Thanks for sharing.
I agree. There is not that much airtime on TV but usually you can find livestreams on the Internet.
